The prescribed burn fire operation that was supposed to start today at D.L. Bliss State Park has been cancelled because of rainy weather and wet fuel conditions. Prescribed burns usually begin this time of year when the threat of fire spreading is low, but a storm that’s coming in has put that off for the time being. This is the second time this year that particular burn had to be rescheduled. The last time it was postponed was due to the severe fires in Northern California.
