Parkview Street was closed much of Thursday at Mazzone Avenue and Neil Road, while Reno Police were investigating a fatal shooting. Police got the call as a “vehicle into a building” around 4:22 a.m. Thursday. Responding officers found a dead woman with gunshot wounds inside a running vehicle in the intersection. She has since been identified as 26-year-old Luz Linares. A homicide investigation is underway. Police say no one is in custody.
