The City of Reno will receive an $800,000 grant from The William N. Pennington Foundation for the Traner Pool renovation project. The grant ensures that the City will be able to reopen Traner Pool by next June. Construction is projected to take place from February to May of next year. Traner Pool was vandalized last March, causing the closure of the pool last summer.
