The Stardust Lodge on West 4th Street an Arlington was demolished this week, so Jacobs Entertainment can turn the area into an arts and entertainment district.

The location will be part of what Jacob’s is calling “The Fountain District” a $500 million dollar mixed use development. Jonathan Bullware with Jacob’s says now that they own the Sands and most of the property in between there and Gold Dust West, which they also own, it could be their biggest undertaking ever.

Jacobs also bought the old Carriage Inn and Donner Inn as part of their “Fountain District” plans. Both motels were torn down in September.
