Las Vegas has a hole in it’s heart but is getting better, after the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history. That’s Clark County Commissioner Steve Sisolak’s take.
Sisolak says help and assistance in the aftermath of the 1 October attacks came from every corner of the state, and the community, while still in some level of shock, has also pulled together. Sisolak says on Nevada Newsmakers, people are still hurting physically and emotionally.
Sisolak says he saw things he never wanted to see, and will never forget, and thinks it has given him a better appreciation of life, and the fragile nature of life, and understanding that it can change in a moment.
