After stuffing themselves at the Thanksgiving Day table, Nevada consumers can look forward to stuffing their shopping carts with Black Friday deals and Cyber Monday sales during the biggest shopping weekend of the year. The Retail Association of Nevada (RAN) estimates that nearly 1.6 million adults in the Silver State will shop over the four-day Thanksgiving weekend and Cyber Monday, when retailers offer deep discounts and promotions as they compete for consumers’ attention and dollars. Bryan Wachter, Senior Vice President of RAN says “This is an important shopping period for retailers, and consumers stand to benefit as they check off their holiday shopping lists.” Black Friday will be the busiest day of the weekend, as 70.3 percent of shoppers plan to hunt for door buster deals and other savings after Thanksgiving Day.
