Southern Nevada Health District reported the first flu-related death of a child this season, as flu activity spikes in Clark County. The district said, the child was younger than 5, but offered few details. As of Nov. 11, there were 78 confirmed influenza cases reported to the Southern NevadaHealth District, 43 percent of which were in children younger than 5.
