Reno Area Post Offices Extending Hours

Not every Northern Nevada town will have a white Christmas, but the U.S. Postal Service has seen a flurry of holiday parcels. Expecting a record 850 million packages, an increase of more than 10 percent over last year, USPS has expanded both delivery and retail services at many Post Offices. The Postal Service has extended normal retail services over this weekend and next at the Reno Main Post Office, 2000 Vassar St, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and Sparks Vista Post Office, 2929 Vista Blvd., 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturdays and the Reno Main Post Office, 2000 Vassar St, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. those Sundays. Between now and Christmas, many neighborhoods will also see mail carriers delivering packages on Sunday.
