Gang Member Draws Stiff Sentence for Murder

A gang member who was on the lam since a 2009 murder, has been sentenced to life in prison, with a possibility of parole after 32 years. 31 year old Miguel Antonio Padron pleaded guilty in September to the shooting death of  a woman, and the wounding of her son, apparently a rival gang associate. He then fled to Mexico, but was arrested in San Diego in March 2016, and returned to Washoe County to face charges.
