Reno Fire Department Fire Investigators arrested 37 year old Christopher Nixon, on one count of arson 1st degree, manufacturing of an explosive device, and burglary. Fire Investigators determined that at about noon January 17th Nixon entered the upper floors of the high rise occupied office building at 100 West Liberty and ignited a bottle that was filled with gasoline. The fire was discovered before it could cause significant damage. The motivation for the incident is still being investigated. Thursday Nixon turned himself in at Reno Fire Station and admitted setting the fire.
