Deonne Contine, who is leaving as the Nevada Department of Taxation Director, is running for an open Assembly seat in Reno. She is also going to work for the Kaempfer Crowell law firm’s Reno office. Her last day with the Tax Department is Feb. 9. Contine will run in District 24, for the seat Assemblywoman Amber Joiner is giving up.
