If you’re thinking about using that handicapped parking spot to run into the store, think again. Department of Motor Vehicles is cracking down on handicapped parking violators, with DMV officials working to catch people in violation. In California, they conducted an enforcement campaign last month, and found more than 150 people using fake disabled placards, which is one out of ten on average. Fines range from $250 dollars up to $1000.
