The Regional Transportation Commission plans to close the northbound lane of Evans Avenue from Highland Avenue to McCarran Boulevard starting Monday, through Friday, March 23. The southbound lane will remain open to traffic. The closure is timed to coincide with the University of Nevada, Reno’s spring break to minimize the impact on students and faculty.  Crews will be resuming construction of the Evans Avenue Bicycle Improvements Project, which will better connect downtown Reno to UNR and make it easier and safer for bicyclists and pedestrians to get around.
