The ACLU says McQueen high school, and the Washoe County School District, unconstitutionally retaliated against a student, after a staffer for Congressman Mark Amodei, complained about a call. Noah Christensen was suspended for two days after dropping an “F-bomb” on the call, protesting the lack of action on gun violence. Christensen admits he could have used better language on the call, but the ACLU and he say it’s his right to use the words he wants. ACLU also told Amodei it’s disturbed by his office’s move to restrict the First Amendment Rights of a constituent. ACLU says people have the right to criticize government officials, even if they use colorful language.
