The Nevada Highway Patrol is asking the public for information about a woman found hurt on an offramp Wednesday night. Shortly before 10PM troopers responded to a medical call on the Wells Avenue westbound offramp from Interstate 80 in Reno. The call indicated there was a female lying on the ramp. Troopers found a woman lying on her back on the right shoulder of the westbound with obvious upper body injuries. Investigators say the woman appears to have been hit by a vehicle. She was taken to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
