A driver is believed to have been drunk after driving the wrong way on I-80 for nearly 10 miles, hitting a Nevada Highway Patrol car along the way. NHP started receiving calls about a wrong-way driver around 2:45AM Thursday. Troopers say the driver was westbound in the eastbound lanes when he clipped a car near the Keystone Avenue exit. A trooper monitoring road construction was also hit while trying to get the driver to stop. The driver eventually exited at Robb Drive, lost control, and crossed over four lanes of traffic before coming to a stop on the sidewalk. He was arrested; his name has not yet been released.
