The Sparks Police Department has released photographs of what it said was a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run on Pyramid Way near Burgess Park on July 18. Police say a person was crossing the street about 1:15 p.m. when the late model white Dodge Challenger hit the pedestrian. The Dodge then fled southbound on Pyramid Way. Police described the car as have decals bordering the rear window. It also has damage on the windshield on the passenger side and the front left fender. The driver is black in his late 20s, about 5 feet, 11 inches tall with a thin build. He had shoulder-length bleached dreadlocks and facial hair.
