Kietzke Lane between Galletti Way and East Second Street has closed to through traffic 8pm to 5am beginning last night until this coming Friday, Aug. 3. It’s part of a Nevada Department of Transportation project to reconstruct the roadway surface of Interstate 580 and U.S. 395 near the Reno spaghetti bowl. Kietzke Lane below the interstate is being closed as crews improve the concrete exterior of bridge piers which carry the interstate over the Truckee River area. NDOT will have detours available.
