Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, the former Nevada attorney general, has endorsed Marsy’s Law. She says she’s been fighting for victims rights, and against elder abuse, human trafficking since she got into politics, and says ” I know that Nevadans will speak up loudly in support of Question 1, and I am proud to join them in using my voice to support it as well.” Marsy’s law would keep victims and families informed about the case, give them a voice in the process and the right to full and timely restitution from perpetrators of crimes.
