The Nevada Department of Transportation will temporarily suspend major work on many Reno-area state road projects over the Hot August Nights event week for easier travel. No construction-related lane closures will take place between the morning of today (Tues) and the evening of Sunday, August 12th on many major NDOT projects in Reno, including I-80 resurfacing west of downtown Reno and resurfacing of U.S. 395 north of the spaghetti bowl. Work zones will remain in place for certain other road improvements, such as construction of a shared use path on State Route 28 south of Incline Village and installation of a traffic signal on USA Parkway at Electric Avenue.
