Sparks Police officers responded to a shooting early Saturday morning in a parking lot on Oddie Blvd. Officers discovered multiple fired shell casings and witnesses claimed that there had been an altercation where several subjects had fired handguns in the parking lot.

There were no victims at the scene, but an 18 year old male and a 17 year old male arrived at a local hospital with life threatening gunshot wounds. Both were treated and are in stable condition.

Sparks Detectives are investigating the incident and are being assisted by the Regional Gang unit as the shooting may have involved gang members. Sparks police asks that anyone with information contact Sparks Police Detective Division at 353-2225 or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
