Police Arrest Man Suspected of Using Stolen Credit Cards

A man accused of using stolen credit cards has been arrested. Reno Police say the credit cards were stolen from a home in the area of Plumb Lane and Sharon Way in July 2018. Police say the man used the credit cards at businesses in the Reno and Sparks areas.  Police say after media showed a surveillance photo of the man using a card, police got tips via Secret Witness identifying 34-year-old Phillip Turner of Reno. Police tracked him to a casino and arrested him. He is charged with three counts of burglary and seven counts of use of a credit card without consent. Reno Police say they “would like to thank the numerous citizens who identified Turner and Secret Witness for their assistance in solving this crime.”
