Officers from the Reno Police Department, Reno Fire Department, and REMSA responded to a vehicle versus motorcycle crash at 7th Street and North Sierra Street Saturday morning.

According to RPD, a dark colored Chevrolet pickup was traveling East on 7th across Sierra Street and struck a motorcycle that was turning south bound on Sierra Street from 7th Street. The motorcycle rider was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

32-year-old Joslin Griffith, the driver of the pickup, was uninjured and arrested for DUI causing substantial injury.

Members from the Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) responded to the scene and took over the ongoing investigation.
