The realty company involved with the Burning Man organization has withdrawn an application to relocate 10 historic homes in the Gateway District of the University of Nevada. Common Ground Urban Development had proposed moving the houses north of Gerlach to be converted into an arts education and learning center. But now Common Ground says they need more time to prepare the land, secure financing and move the houses. Without some new ideas, those homes face a wrecking ball.
