A northwest Reno family has been displaced after an attic fire on Arcane Avenue last night. Reno Battalion Chief Mike Pilcher says the fire started above the kitchen, but the cause remains under investigation.  Investigators searched the wood attic into the early hours this morning to learn how the fire may have started. The Red Cross is assisting the family with housing. No one was injured.
