Washoe County Sheriff’s Office detectives continue to investigate the deaths of a man and woman at a residence in Cold Springs late Sunday night. At approximately 10:15 p.m. December 30th, deputies responded to the 18 thousand block of Spruce Lake Court on a report of a battery in progress with possible shots fired. Deputies located a dead man and woman, inside the residence. They say evidence indicates this was a domestic incident in which the male subject shot the female and then took his own life. 38 year old Nicholas Underwood, and 33 year old Diana Underwood died as a result of gunshot wounds
