Stagecoach Man Arrested After Allegedly Stabbing His Neighbor

A Stagecoach man was booked Wednesday afternoon on charges he stabbed his neighbor several times. 26 year old Curtis James was booked into the Lyon County jail on charges of attempted murder, battery with a deadly weapon and burglary while in possession of a deadly weapon. The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said James entered his neighbor’s home in the 5300 block of Bentgrass Drive through an unlocked front door and confronted the man in his neighbor’s backyard. They fought and James stabbed the man several times before James left and went to his home next door. The victim was flown to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno with injuries the sheriff’s office described as life-threatening.
