Sparks Police are looking for a man who has an active DUI warrant and who took off during a traffic stop. Police say about 4:30PM January 28th, a Sparks Police detective was driving northbound on Sparks Boulevard approaching Ion Drive. The detective saw the driver of the vehicle next to him, a white GMC Trail Blazer (license plate NV 204 F78), smoking narcotics. Police say it was a “white crystalline substance” and not marijuana. The detective pulled the driver over and identified him as Brian Forest. Forest sped off, heading north onto Pyramid Highway and on the shoulder at high speeds. Forest has an active warrant for a prior DUI.
