Reno Police say one person died after they were hit by a vehicle near the intersection of Kietzke Lane and Vassar Street. It happened at about 12:07 a.m. when a vehicle traveling northbound hit a pedestrian on the road. Police do not believe that drugs and alcohol were a factor, and say the driver attempted life saving measures on the victim after the accident. Northbound Kietzke was closed for several hours.
