Prado Ranch Developers Host Community Meeting For Lemmon Valley Residents

Prado Ranch developers hosted a community meeting last night at the Reno-Stead Airport to speak to Lemmon Valley residents and address concerns about their proposed housing project. Prado Ranch would feature 1,200 housing units, 200-acres of industrial space, 22-acres of commercial space and nearly 450-acres of open space. Developer William Roberts told our news partner KOLO 8 News Now, the plan to raise Lemmon Valley Drive up two feet above the base flood elevation and widening the road will address one flood related issue.

Resident Tim Fadda says there will be too many houses and facilities and says the density and the other issues all together make the residents agitated and angry.

Some residents fear that the development would make flooding and traffic in the area worse.
