Reno Police say a woman found dead Sunday near downtown appears to have been murdered. Sunday morning, at about 7:25 police were called to reports of the body in the area of Vine and 3rd Streets. Police say the victim was homeless and her name won’t be released until family is notified. No information is yet being released about the cause of death or other circumstances, but they are calling it a homicide.
