Beginning Monday through Friday, June 28th, the city of Sparks will close sections of the Truckee River Bike Path, as crews clear the path of overgrown brush, weeds and dead trees. Various sections of the path will be closed from 7 am to 2 pm each day. Crew Supervisor Casey Bond says in the interest of public safety, they are asking that path-users heed the closure signs and not go around them as they work. All sections will reopen June 29.
