Crews Knock Down Brush Fire in Wadsworth

Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District knocked out a brush and structure fire in Wadsworth, that damaged a house, a barn and four trailers. Flames were reported shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday on Main Street. Truckee Meadows Fire says about an acre burned. No injuries have been reported and no cause has been determined. The house that burned is the site of a shooting last weekend, according to TMFPD. Other agencies including North Lyon Fire and Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe helped fight the fire.
