Reno Police have recovered a pickup believed to have been used in a shooting, and are no longer searching for a second person, after a suspect was arrested in Gardnerville.
The shooting was reported about 3:23 p.m. June 30th at an Auto Parts store in the 1700 block of South Virginia. The victim was shot several times while in his car, and is expected to survive despite critical injuries. Two men in the suspect vehicle, a red Dodge pickup with out-of-state plates, sped from the area after the shooting. That pickup was found Monday and is being investigated. Also Monday, Reno detectives tracked a suspect, 42-year-old Ronnie Crawford, who led them and other police agencies on a chase in a different vehicle that ended in Gardnerville.
