Gun Used in Gilroy Garlic Festival Shooting Was Purchased in Fallon

The Mineral County District Attorney’s Office confirms sheriff’s deputies helped search a home in Walker Lake that may have been used by the shooter in the days prior to the Gilroy Garlic Festival shooting. Three people were killed in Sunday’s shooting. Investigators say 19-year-old Santino William Legan cut through a fence and appeared to randomly target people with an “assault-type rifle”. According to ABC News sources, Legan purchased the gun from Big Mikes Gun and Ammo in Fallon on July 9.
