A Sparks man wants to start a political party, and wants to register it with the state as the “WTF Party.” It’s an acronym you see often on social media.  But state election officials say Jeffrey Burns needs a new name, so he’s suing in Reno Federal Court, over his free speech rights and the right to form political parties. The Secretary of State says the third letter in WTF represents a profanity and could offend people and denigrate the election process.
