The recent arrests of the owners of a Reno pet store on charges of torture and killing an animal and practicing veterinary medicine without a license is prompting calls for the city council to shut the business down. The Mayor has called a special city council meeting to the discuss a possible moratorium on similar types of operations.  The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, the 19th at 6 PM. She’s urging all interested citizens to attend.
