A fire in southwest Reno continues to grow. The grass fire has burned about 25 acres above Evans Creek off the end of Lone Tree Drive. No structures are currently threatened. Firefighters had to hike to the fire location, because of poor accessability.
The Forest Service says this is a human caused fire. It broke out about 2am Thursday, and there is no prediction yet on full containment.
