The Washoe County School District is considering a complete tear down and rebuild of O’Brien STEM Academy, and they’re hosting a meeting next week to get your feedback. The district looked at the cost of a renovation of the older school, and it may be less expensive to construct a new school from the ground up, rather than refurbish it. Riley Sutton with the district says they also want to do something about the the entrance to the school because it’s right off the highway.

The meeting is Monday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at O’Brien STEM Academy at 10500 Stead Blvd. in Reno.
