Interim Superintendent Dr. Kristen McNeill and the Washoe County School District Board of Trustees issued a statement about the death of a student hit by a vehicle near Wooster High Tuesday. McNeill says she wanted to express our heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the family of our student who died under such tragic circumstances. We join with them and the entire Wooster High School family in mourning her loss. McNeill said, our children are our most precious resource. They are our future, and we must work together to protect them and keep them safe on our roadways.
