A Las Vegas Metro police officer and a suspect were both taken to the hospital  Thursday morning after a shooting at McCarran Airport. Officers responded to a “Door breach” around 3:30 a.m. in Terminal 3. 20 minutes later, officers found the suspect in Terminal 1. As officers removed the man from the area, he attacked one of the officers, knocking him to the ground and knocking him unconscious. A second officer tried non lethal means to deescalate the situation. But the suspect attacked that officer. The individual then tried to attack a third officer, that officer fired two rounds wounding the suspect. The injured man and police officer who was knocked out were taken to the hospital.
