The company formerly known as United Blood Services is gearing up for the holidays. Vitalant’s “A Christmas to Remember” is today. They say blood donations usually drop this time of year because regular donors are busy getting ready for the holidays and because of the illnesses that get passed around. Vitalant is looking for donors at its Reno, Sparks and Carson City locations. Donors today will receive: a $20 Fandango movie certificate through the Donor Rewards store–a $10 “Squeeze In” voucher– a Vitalant ugly sweater ornament– an entry for a gift card drawing, and holiday snacks.
