Douglas County Sheriff’s deputies found a disabled motorcycle on State Route 88 near Centerville Lane. They then made contact with the rider, as 29-year-old Jesse Martinez. The motorcyle had been reported stolen in Reno this week. It was also determined Martinez was in possession of stolen property, from a residence in the 1000 block of State Route 88, that had occurred minutes earlier, the homeowner did not even know had happened. Martinez, a convicted felon, was arrested for possession of stolen property, prohibited person in possession of a firearm, residential burglary, and driving without a valid driver’s license. Martinez is wanted in Texas, Oklahoma, and Las Vegas, for burglary.
