Sparks Police are looking for a man who robbed a Spanish Springs convenience store Thursday morning by spraying the clerks with pepper spray. The suspect walked into Dad’s Quick Mart at 5212 Sparks Blvd. about 6:42 a.m. armed with a black, semi-automatic pistol and pepper spray. He brandished the gun and demanded money from two clerks. After getting the money, he sprayed the clerks and fled in a newer white Jeep Cherokee with dark tinted rear windows and silver or aluminum rims. Police say the suspect was of an unknown race with dark facial hair and wore a black, hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, dark shoes, leather work gloves and concealed his face with a white bandanna. Police believe this related to other robberies in Truckee and Reno.
