Detectives with the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Crimes Against Children unit arrested 25 year old Joseph Lawrence Torres-Tamez, on multiple charges related to sexual contact with a child under 16. The victim became someone the suspect met online. Torres-Tamez was booked into the Washoe County Detention Facility on two charges of Statutory Sexual Seduction, three charges of Lewdness with a Child 14 or 15 years old, and three charges of Luring. The charges are related to incidents involving one female victim that occurred in November of 2019 at an undisclosed locations in Washoe County.
