The Reno Police Department says they are investigating an arson that killed two people and injured 13 others off of Vassar Street. The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m Monday. The Reno Fire Department said the victims that died were in separate rooms in the building when they were found. Officials said both deaths were fire related. They said the fire started in the entrance to the building. Thirteen other apartment residents suffered minor injuries ranging from smoke inhalation to burns, 11 were sent to the hospital. Fire crews confirm that some animals were also killed in the fire.
