The Space Whale is swimming off into the sunset. After being unable to negotiate a price for the artwork that was featured originally at Burning Man, the City of Reno started dismantling the piece Monday afternoon. The 50-foot-tall, stained glass and steel art sculpture has resided in City Plaza since August 2017.
