Helicopter Accident Closes Carson Airport

Officials are investigating a helicopter crash at the Carson Airport yesterday. Emergency crews were called to the scene just before 5:00 p.m. A pilot and a passenger were practicing touch downs when the aircraft tipped over. No injuries were reported.  The airport was closed during the investigation, it has since reopened.MORE

Former Boulder City Animal Shelter Head Sentenced to 90 Days in Jail

After pleading guilty in October to animal cruelty charges, Mary Jo Frazier, the former head of Boulder City’s animal shelter, was sentenced to 90 days in jail, and four years probation.
