Crews Knock Down Fire Near The River

The Reno Fire Department put out a small fire between the Truckee River and the Grand Sierra Resort property last night, just before 9 o’clock. Firefighters estimate the fire burned an area about 30 feet by 20 feet. There is evidence that the fire could be linked to a nearby homeless camp.MORE

More Burning Man Art Coming to Downtown

Two empty lots in Reno will soon be home to an art installation courtesy of Burning Man 2016. The City Council approved a lease agreement to install the art at lots currently hosting dirt and sidewalks after two motels were demolished earlier this month.
