Body Found in The Truckee River

Reno authorities say a body has been found in the Truckee River. Washoe County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Bob Harmon says a swimmer spotted the body Saturday afternoon in the river near Spice Island Drive. Suspect Dead, Deputy Wounded In North Reno

A deputy is wounded and a suspect has been shot and killed, after a chase that ended at North Virginia and Stead Blvd Friday afternoon. Judge Denies James Biela New Trial

A Washoe District judge says James Biela is not entitled to new trial. Thousands of Acres Burn Near Winnemucca

The Bureau of Land Management in Winnemucca, says all but one fire caused by lightning this week have been contained.
